How do I qualify?

Here’s who’s eligible for the Federal Stafford Loan:

Wait. What’s the FAFSA?

Many federal aid programs are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Your first step should be filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

The FAFSA is a federal form used to determine how much your family will be asked to contribute to your education, and how much aid you can receive in state and federal grants, federal loans, and other programs.

Once you’ve turned in a completed FAFSA, you will receive a Student Aid Report (SAR). The SAR helps your school determine how much aid you will be eligible to receive.

Begin by filling out your FAFSA.

The early bird gets the worm when it comes to federal aid. So fill out your FAFSA as soon as you can after January 1. Complete your FAFSA online or learn more by following the links below.
