When do I have to start making payments?

While class is in session, you have a lot on your mind, and the least of it should be paying back your loan. That’s why Wachovia offers flexible repayment options and reasonable repayment schedules.

Repayment begins:

Six months after you graduate OR
Six months after you drop below half-time enrollment

Choose one of five repayment plans:

Standard Repayment—This plan gives you a fixed monthly payment amount. (Minimum payment will be at least $50.)
Graduated Repayment—This plan starts with a low payment then increases over time.
Income-Sensitive Repayment —This plan gives you monthly payments based on your annual income.
Extended Repayment — For customers with more than $30,000 in eligible loans, this plan offers standard or graduated payments over an extended repayment period of up to 25 years.
Loan Consolidation — This loan can be combined with other eligible loans into a new loan with a reduced monthly payment and a fixed interest rate.
