Information to Know Before Applying
Wachovia does not approve students who have not yet established a credit history. Students lacking sufficient credit history will need a co-applicant (i.e. parent) with a strong credit profile to apply with them. Additionally, students must be at least 18 years old at the time of application and a U.S. citizen to apply for a Wachovia credit card.

*Introductory APRs do not apply to purchases or cash advances. Your rate may increase if your account is consistently past due and we can change the account terms, including fees, are subject to change at any time for any reason. Payments are applied to low APR balances first.


1Introductory Balance Transfer APR available for transfers made with the Promotional Convenience Checks included in the Welcome Kit. Promotional Convenience Checks must post to the account within six (6) months of account opening to receive promotional introductory rate.

2After the first waived late fee, each occurrence is $15 for balances up to $99.99; $29 for balances $100-999.99; $39 for balances of $1,000 or more.

3After the first waived overlimit fee, $20 per billing cycle in which overlimit incident occurs, if account is overlimit at time statement is produced.
