ONE WAY TO GET ON THE NET WITHOUT A WEB SITE

Sometimes the best way onto the Net isn't a Web site at all. A Seattle company called CyberSlice has set up a Web site where surfers can order pizza from their neighborhood pizzerias. But the pizzerias don't need to have Web sites at all. CyberSlice takes the order, then calls the local shop, who can take it or reject it. The pizzeria pays only for orders it chooses to take, at fifty cents to $3.00 a shot. And it doesn't need a computer at all. In May, CyberSlice had already signed up 300 pizzerias in New York City alone. CyberSlice was so successful that it grew into Cybermeals to sell more than just pizza.

Maybe it's not exactly a business trip. But it is lunch.
