How can I make loan payments online?

By selecting Transfer Funds within Online Banking, you can have individual loan payments deducted from your Wachovia account or your account at another financial institution.  This free service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

How can I view and print my loan statements online?

Simply log in to Online Banking and select View Statements in the Customer Service box on the right-hand side of the My Accounts page. Select your mortgage loan from the account drop-down list to view the statements for your loan. You can select either the most recent statement or one of your past statements, which you can then print or save for your records.

If you're not yet enrolled in Online Banking, viewing online statements is another excellent reason to sign up. To get started, enroll now .

Can I have my mortgage payments automatically deducted from my checking or savings account?

Yes. Our Automatic Loan Payment service allows you to have your loan payments deducted from your checking or savings account at most financial institutions, with no service fee. You can set up this service through Online Banking once you have enrolled.

Can I wire funds to my mortgage account?

Yes. You can wire funds to reduce your principal or payoff your loan. Most banks and financial institutions can assist you with the wire transactions. Wires received by 4:00pm ET (3:00pm CT), will be posted the same day. After 4:00pm ET (3:00pm CT), they will be posted the following business day.

Can I pay an additional amount toward my principal balance?

Yes, you may make additional payments one of three ways.

  1. You can make a loan payment online and include additional principal with your payment or make a separate principal-only payment. You can have your payments deducted from your Wachovia account or from your account at another financial institution via Online Banking.

  2. If you have set up an Automatic Loan Payment, you can add to the amount regularly deducted from your savings or checking account, via Online Banking. You can also mail or fax a signed, written request to include more principal in each Automatic Loan Payment. Remember to include your loan number in the request.

  3. If you make your payment by check, you may increase the amount you submit with your payment.

    Whichever way you choose, your regular payment amount is applied to the full principal and interest of your loan. Any extra you submit is applied to outstanding fees, deferred interest and principal.

    Note: Your loan may have a prepayment fee provision that limits how quickly you may pay off your loan during the first three to four years. Please check your original loan documents for any prepayment fee or call

What is a principal-only payment?

A principal-only payment is a payment that is applied entirely to reduce the principal balance of your loan. The maximum per transaction principal-only payment you may make is $4,999.99. Making a principal-only payment is one of the free services available in Online Banking

When is my Equity Builder SM biweekly payment due?

Your biweekly mortgage payments are automatically deducted from your designated bank account every other Monday.
