How can I change the mailing address for my mortgage loan?

To request an address change for your mortgage loan please call (800) 642-0257, Monday through Friday 8:00am to 8:00pm, Saturday 8:00am to 5:00pm, CT.

How can I change my mailing address for my other accounts?

If you are an Online Services customer you can easily change your account mailing address as follows:

  1. From the wachovia.com homepage, enter your User ID and Password to log into Online Banking.
  2. On the My Accounts page, click Change Mailing Address/Phone Number in the Customer Service box on the right-hand side of the page.
  3. Enter your new mailing address, home phone number, and work phone number if you have one.
  4. Specify the best time to call you, should we have questions concerning your request.
  5. Provide us with an email address or change your current one.
  6. Click Submit and we will send you an email confirming that the requested changes have been made.

Note: If you wish to change your mailing address for a specific account(s) instead of all your accounts, or you have an international mailing address change, please call 800-WACHOVIA (800-922-4684) and we will gladly make the change for you.

Is my loan assumable?

To obtain information on whether or not your loan is assumable, please contact us via e-mail or call Customer Service toll free at
(800) 642-0257, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 8:00pm, Saturday 8:00am to 5:00pm, CT.

How can I exercise my Fixed Rate Conversion Option?

For customers who’s Adjustable Rate Mortgage (ARM) may qualify for fixed rate conversion, please speak with a Loan Specialist at (800) 909-1825, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to
8:00pm, Saturday 8:00am to 4:00pm, CT.

What indexes are used to determine adjustable mortgage rates?

We calculate the mortgage rate for each new loan based on one of five indexes. For current index rates and explanations of how each index works, please see Adjustable Rate Mortgage Indexes.

How do I obtain a User ID and Password to access my loan and other accounts via Online Banking?

How soon can I begin using Online Banking?

After enrolling, you may log in to Online Banking immediately.

How can I obtain a Password if I have forgotten it?

Online Services customers can reset a password quickly and easily online.

  1. To reset your Password, go to wachovia.com and select the User ID & Password Help link located under the login boxes.
  2. You will then be able to view the User ID and Password Guidelines. Scroll down and select Reset Your Password.
  3. Enter your User ID, account number, Check Card/ATM Card number, and Check Card/ATM Card PIN.
  4. Click Next and you will be able to enter your new password.
  5. Click Next for a confirmation of your change.

How can I obtain my User ID if I have forgotten it?

Just follow these instructions to retrieve the User ID you selected.

    1. From the wachovia.com home page, select User ID & Password Help, located just below the login boxes on the left side of the page.
    2. On the User ID & Password Help page, select Forgot Your User ID.
    3. On the Retrieve User ID page, please enter your account number, Check Card/ATM Card number, and your Check Card/ATM Card PIN.
    4. Click Next and your User ID will be displayed.
