To receive an education loan, you will need to complete and sign a promissory note or credit agreement.
Promissory notes and credit agreements are contracts between borrowers (and co-borrowers, when applicable) and lenders. These important documents list the terms and conditions under which borrowers promise to repay loans.
Your promissory note/credit agreement can be completed and signed when you apply online, or you may use a paper promissory note.
To download an application/promissory note or credit agreement, simply follow the links below. Fill out the document in its entirety and make sure that Wachovia is identified as your lender.

* Please note: If you are a returning Wachovia Education Finance borrower, it may not be necessary to fill out another application for additional Stafford or PLUS funds. Check with your school's financial aid office or call (877) 689-0763 for more details.
