Hazard and Flood Insurance What do I need to do if I change insurance companies? Will you escrow my flood insurance? Do you need a copy of my homeowner's insurance policy? If you change companies at the time of renewal, you must send us at least a 30-day notice. If you change companies during mid-term, you must pay the premium and forward a copy of your paid receipt with evidence of your new coverage. Our mortgage clause is "Wachovia Mortgage, FSB, its successors and/or assigns." If a flood certification indicates that your house is located in a special flood hazard area and your mortgage loan has an escrow account for your taxes and/or insurance, Wachovia Mortgage, FSB, is required to escrow for and pay your flood insurance. Once a year, at the time of your renewal, we require that you or your agent send a copy of the Declaration Page of your insurance policy. Your insurance agent should be able to provide you with this document. Fill out the form below.
