The Wachovia Championship is one of the most prestigious and highly regarded golf tournaments in the world. This year’s event brought together many of the biggest names in golf.

As in previous years, the majority of the proceeds from the 2008 Wachovia Championship will again benefit Teach For America, the national corps of outstanding recent college graduates who commit two years to teach in urban and rural public schools and become lifelong leaders in expanding educational opportunity.
