WACHOVIA RESPONDS TO HURRICANES
KATRINA, RITA, AND WILMA

The devastating losses and hardships caused by these storms will require massive rebuilding efforts.  Wachovia has responded with:

• $1 million to the American Red Cross relief fund
• $800,000 to establish a fund with the Gulf Coast Community Foundation in Mississippi
• $200,000 to establish a fund with the Community Foundation of South Alabama in Mobile
• $150,000 to the Foundation for Southeast Texas
• $700,000 to match employee contributions to the Red Cross

You Can Donate Through Wachovia

Any Wachovia financial center will process donations received for the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund (except in Georgia*). Or you can send a check, payable to the American Red Cross Fund, to either of the following addresses:

Checks may be made payable to Wachovia Bank as long as the contributor indicates that the check is for a donation to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund (for example, on the memo line of the check). A receipt will be sent only when the contributor requests it. The words "American Red Cross" will be written on the receipt and the account number will be crossed out.
