Wachovia to Host Two Exhibit Booths, Sponsor 2003 Pinnacle Awards at the 24th Annual AFP Conference Charlotte, NC - Wachovia announced today its participation in the 24th Annual Association for Financial Professionals Conference, the nation's premiere conference for treasury and finance professionals, scheduled for Nov. 2-5 in Orlando. "The Annual AFP Conference provides us with a wonderful opportunity to showcase our innovative and market-leading cash management solutions," said Ranjana Clark, Executive Vice President and head of Wachovia's Treasury Services Division. "We are excited to host two booths this year and to be able to hear, firsthand, from many of our clients. The AFP Conference also gives us the opportunity to hear from a host of other corporations about their impressions and expectations for next year as it relates to treasury management." In a recent survey of middle- and large-corporate customers by independent surveyor Phoenix Hecht, 15 out of 18 of Wachovia's treasury service products ranked "A" or "A+". Additionally, ten of the bank's 12 key treasury product capabilities are ranked in the top three for market share in Ernst & Young's survey. Recently, Wachovia Connection was voted the "Best Corporate/Institutional Online Cash Management Service in North America" by Global Finance, and the most recent Bank Leader Survey placed Wachovia's Treasury Services Number 2 for "Overall Satisfaction" and "Overall Quality of Customer Service."
