Wachovia Treasury and Financial Consulting Hires Renée McKenzie Charlotte, N.C. - Wachovia Treasury and Financial Consulting announced today that Renée E. McKenzie has joined the group as a Senior Vice President and practice leader. McKenzie will report to Henry Waszkowski, Senior Vice President and consulting practice director. Wachovia Treasury and Financial Consulting is comprised of independent consultants who advise clients on a wide range of topics including corporate treasury management, working capital management and treasury automation. "Renée is an important addition to our team. Her corporate treasury perspective, financial expertise and hands-on experience in treasury and financial management complement Wachovia's team of seasoned treasury and financial consultants," Waszkowski said. McKenzie will focus on creating and implementing practical solutions that add significant value to the treasury and finance activities of her clients. Her consulting responsibilities include the organization of treasury staff for maximum efficiency and effective control; the development and administration of treasury and finance restructuring related to corporate mergers, acquisitions and divestitures; and the identification and selection of banks or other financial service providers for cash, investment and financial management activities. Before joining Wachovia, McKenzie was the head of U.S. Treasury Services for ING US Financial Services. That company recently received a prestigious 2003 Alexander Hamilton Award from Treasury & Risk Management magazine, honoring excellence and innovation in corporate treasury management solutions. McKenzie is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Cash Manager and holds series 7 and 63 licenses.
