Wachovia's International Banking Division Hires Eileen Riach in the Global Payments Services Group Charlotte, N.C. - Wachovia announced that Eileen Riach has joined the International Division's Global Payments Services group as the Global Financial Institutions (GFI) Sales Manager for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Riach will report to George Doolittle, managing director and head of the Global Payments Services group, and will be based in London. "Eileen's twenty-one years of banking industry experience along with her broad knowledge of U.S. and European business and financial marketplaces makes her a powerful addition to the GFI Global Payment Services group. We are excited to welcome her to our team," Doolittle said. Riach will focus on managing and enhancing Wachovia's sales of next generation correspondent banking payment services in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Riach will be responsible for sales of single point Euro, Yen and US dollar settlement services, SWIFTNet-based services, aggregation services, and Internet and payment outsourcing solutions. Before joining Wachovia, Riach was a global treasury services product strategy consultant for Bank of America's London offices. Riach earned her BS in finance and international business from Florida International University, Miami. She is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese. Global Payment Services Wachovia's Global Payment Services group is responsible for coordinating sales, marketing, brand development and product development for Wachovia Bank's core international payment, check and collections and account services. The group delivers payment solutions to the bank's traditional customer segments, including financial institutions around the world, embassies, government agencies and multi-lateral organizations.
