Wachovia Corporation Names New Director
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Wachovia Corporation is pleased to announce the appointment of Georgette (Gigi) Dixon as director of the newly created Emerging Markets department in Wachovia's Corporate Marketing division. Her team will be responsible for working with the company's lines of business to create specialized programs that recognize and meet the needs of its diverse customer base.
“Customers want to do business with people who understand their unique needs and can build commitment and trust through the customer experience. The role of emerging markets is to ensure our company is in touch with the needs of our diverse markets,” said Dixon.
Dixon has more than 17 years of marketing and sales management experience with extensive practice in the niche market segment of the financial services industry. She has held various marketing positions within the bank as well as at Procter & Gamble and Brown & Williamson Tobacco Corporation.
