August 07, 1998 First Union Commemorates Grand Opening of Kennesaw Financial Center ATLANTA, GA. - First Union - Georgia held a ribbon cutting ceremony today to commemorate the grand opening of its new Kennesaw financial center. The Mayor John Haynie, representatives from Cobb County Chamber Commerce and Gary Davis, First Union's consumer bank director for Atlanta were present for the dedication. Operations at the Kennesaw Financial Center began July 27. Kennesaw features seven tellers, two financial specialists, one personal investment counselor, one trust specialist and one customer relations manager. The personal investment counselor and the trust specialist are available on an appointment basis. Exterior customer conveniences include two drive through banking lanes - served by tellers, one full-service drive-through automatic teller machine (ATM) and one express ATM. The drive-through ATM will be operational 24 hours per day, seven days a week. Lobby and drive-through hours of operation will be Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Kennesaw is a full service financial center with a full array of First Union's credit, investment and financial planning products and services and is equipped with First Union's latest banking technology. Kennesaw Financial Center is located at 2778 North Cobb Parkway in Kennesaw, Georgia, and is one of eighteen financial centers in Cobb County.
