Wachovia Securities Adds Senior Equity Research Analyst Wendy Caplan to Cover the Diversified Industrials Sector CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Wachovia Securities announced Wendy Caplan has joined the firm as a Senior Equity Research Analyst covering the Diversified Industrials sector. Caplan will be based in Wachovia Securities' New York office. Caplan joined Wachovia Securities from ABN AMRO, where she was a senior analyst covering the Diversified Industrials sector for the past five years. In 2001, Caplan was named "Best on the Street" by the Wall Street Journal for her stock recommendations. Caplan also spent nine years as an equity analyst covering the manufacturing sector for Schroder Wertheim & Company. Caplan holds a B.S. degree from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Pace University.
