Howle brings to the position more than 18 years experience in banking. He spent the last four years at Wachovia re-energizing the bank's efforts aimed at small businesses and creating an affluent client strategy that included the creation of a special team of Private Advisory Bankers with the goal of attracting new affluent customers to Wachovia. His most recent title was director of Retail and Small Business Segments. Prior to Wachovia, Howle led Bank of America's Private Bank in Coastal South Carolina and Georgia.
