Geoffrey Snyder Named Head of Equity Institutional Sales

Charlotte, N.C.—Wachovia Securities today announced that Geoffrey Snyder has joined the firm as managing director and head of Equity Institutional Sales in New York.  He will report to Chris Bartlett, managing director and head of Equity Sales and Trading.

Prior to joining Wachovia, Snyder was Senior Operating Officer at Banc of America Securities in New York, where he spearheaded the investor client management effort and developed and implemented the BAS Commission Management program.  Prior to that, he was global head of Institutional Equity Sales at Banc of America Securities.  Snyder also spent 11 years with Citigroup Global Markets, holding a number of senior positions in sales.  He holds an MBA from Cornell University and brings more than 20 years of experience in Institutional Equity Sales to the platform.
