Keating brings to the position more than 25 years of investment banking experience. Most recently, he led the expansion of Wachovia's investment banking business in the Southwest United States as part of the Strategic Advisory Group, which provides investment banking services to the company's General Bank clients.
Keating first joined Wachovia in 1995 as the head of the High Yield Origination Group. Since then, he has managed client relationships in a number of corporate finance industry groups, including Diversified Industries, Business Services and IT Services and Outsourcing. Prior to Wachovia, Keating worked with Kidder, Peabody & Co. and Advent International.
