Lisa Beeson Joins Wachovia Securities Mergers and Acquisitions Group
Charlotte, NC - Wachovia Securities today announced that Lisa Beeson has joined the firm as a Managing Director in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group. Beeson will report to Mark Mealy, head of the group, and will be based in New York.

The M&A product is a key part of our overall investment banking strategy, and Lisa’s sector knowledge, combined with her extensive knowledge and experience in mergers and acquisitions, will be of great value as our business grows," said Mealy.
Beeson has 17 years of investment banking experience, most recently as a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley, where she worked in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group. During her 11-year tenure at the firm, Beeson focused on industrial, healthcare and consumer companies. She has provided both sell-side and buy-side advisory services for public and private companies.
Beeson began her career in 1987 in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group at Smith Barney.
The Wachovia Securities Mergers and Acquisitions Group includes 19 bankers based in Charlotte. The group advises corporate clients in a range of industry sectors as well as sponsor groups.
Beeson earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
