In addition:  Ludeman joined Wachovia with the merger of Wheat First Butcher Singer in 1998. He joined Wheat First in 1979 and was named to the board of directors in 1984. He held a variety of leadership positions with the company in capital markets, asset management and brokerage and in 1996 was named to the executive committee.
