Wachovia Corporate and Institutional Trust Hires Wilder for Equity Services Group

Charlotte, N.C. – Wachovia Corporate and Institutional Trust announced today that it has hired Matt Wilder as vice president of sales in its Equity Services group, which provides comprehensive shareholder services to publicly held companies. Wilder will be based in New York City.

“We are proud that our team of equity services professionals is expanding with a high-caliber teammate like Matt,” said John Shope, senior vice president and national sales director of Corporate and Institutional Trust. “We believe that our salespeople in this field are best-in-class, and we are excited about the momentum we have generated this year.”

Wilder joins Wachovia from Equiserve, where he was a senior sales officer responsible for conventional stock transfer, stock plan administration and corporate reorganization products. Previously he was a senior product manager for First Chicago Trust Company of New York. He earned B.S. and M.B.A. degrees from Wagner College.

Equity services offered through the Corporate Trust group of Wachovia Bank include stock transfer services, dividend reinvestment plans, employee stock purchase plans, stock option and restricted security plan administration, direct purchase plans, turn-key initial public offering services, corporate action processing and investment management.
