Secure Messages are a private and secure way for you to send and receive email messages. Messages sent through Secure Messages are secure, unlike regular email sent over the Internet. This security means that any information contained in the message, such as sensitive account data, never leaves the security of our site.
When email is transmitted over the Internet, there is a small possibility the message could be intercepted by a third party. To prevent other people from potentially gaining access to your account and personal information, we deliver your message to the secure Online Services Message Center instead of your email address. This way, you can login to Online Services to read the message without fear of sensitive information leaving our secure site.
We'll send an email to your Internet email address notifying that your response is ready and that it can be viewed when you log in to Online Banking. Once logged in, click View Messages in the Customer Service box on the right-hand side of the My Accounts page.
The new message will remain in your View Messages folder for 30 calendar days, after which it will be deleted.
We should deliver an answer to your Message Center inbox within two business days of your request. You will receive an email at your separate Internet email address you have on file with us notifying you that we have responded to your message and asking you to login to your online account in the Message Center to view our answer.
