Current Yield (Or Yield To Market)
The definition of current yield varies with the type of asset: For stocks, the current yield is calculated by dividing the projected annual dividend by the current market price of the stock. For bonds and other debt instruments, the current yield is calculated by dividing the annual interest paid by the current market value of the bond.
