What is Wachovia MobileSM?

Wachovia MobileSM provides a safe and secure way for Online Banking customers to access eligible Wachovia accounts1 for free.2 Access your accounts anytime, anywhere using your mobile device.

Wachovia currently offers two ways to access your accounts from your mobile device: through a mobile banking application or through an Internet enabled browser.

1. Eligible accounts include Wachovia checking, savings, money market, Command Asset Program (banking transactions only), and credit card accounts.

2. There is no fee to access Wachovia Mobile. However, Internet and mobile service provider download charges may apply.

What is mobile banking using an Internet enabled browser?

Mobile banking using an Internet enabled browser is a simplified version of our Online Banking site that fits within a cell phone and PDA screen. If you have Internet access on your mobile device, you can log in to your accounts by typing wachovia.mobi into your mobile browser. With this type of mobile banking, you'll be able to perform many of the same functions you can in Wachovia Online Banking except for paying bills.

Do I need to sign up for mobile banking using an Internet enabled browser?

There is no enrollment required; however, you do need to be enrolled in Wachovia Online Banking. Simply go to wachovia.com/mobile and log in using your User ID and Password that you use for other Wachovia Online Services. You may also continue to log in on your computer at wachovia.com.

What banking functions can I do when accessing Wachovia Mobile with an Internet enabled browser?

When accessing mobile banking with an Internet enabled browser, you can:

  • View and monitor account activity
  • Check account balances
  • Tranfer funds between eligible Wachovia accounts
  • Search for the nearest ATM location
What types of transfers can I schedule?

With Wachovia Mobile you can schedule a one-time transfer that will occur immediately, future-dated transfers, or transfers that are on a repeating schedule. These same types of transfers can be scheduled in Online Banking.

What operating systems and browsers can I use to access mobile banking with an Internet enabled browser?

While mobile devices using Windows Mobile 5.0 or Palm OS® operating systems will have the optimal online banking experience, other browsers and operating systems may have success as well. However, display of your account information and online functionality may vary depending on the device and operating system used. You must use a browser enabled with a 128-bit encryption.
