Certified Financial Planner (CFP)
A person who is certified by the Institute of Certified Financial Planners/Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards to give financial advice. To become a CFP, an individual must take extensive exams in the following areas: financial planning, taxes, insurance, estate planning, and retirement.
