Executive Retirement Plan

Wachovia Executive Retirement Plan is a supplemental retirement plan specifically for your executives that allows them to set aside additional money beyond qualified plan limits. The program costs you, the employer, little, but brings a whole new level of tax-deferred retirement benefits to your key employees.

Here's how it works. Your executives contribute what they want on a pre-tax basis, but do not pay tax until the distributions are received. You as the employer may also contribute on behalf of your executives, and may take a tax deduction when the funds are distributed, usually at retirement.

Executive Retirement Plan is a fully bundled, "soup-to-nuts" non-qualified plan that can be customized to your needs.

• Our non-qualified plan consultants consult with you (in conjunction with your legal counsel) to determine the most appropriate plan design.
• You receive a single point of contact for all of your plan administration needs.
• Investments include selections from some of the most recognized and respected fund families in the country.
• You as sponsor receive customized quarterly performance reports in a choice of formats, and can review and retrieve data electronically in real time.
• Participants can check balances and make transfers online or by phone.
