Marine Cargo Insurance Policy
A contract of indemnity by which an insurance company, in return for payment of a premium, undertakes to refund the insured the amount of any loss arising from such casualty as may be insured against for goods in transit. Marine insurance may cover not only ocean shipments, but air shipments as well.
