Wachovia Strengthens its International Treasury Services Group
Alison Boyd Garritt, Chul Han and Karen Park join International Sales Team

Charlotte, N.C. - Wachovia's Treasury Services Division, the nation's second-largest cash management provider, has hired Allison Boyd Garritt, Chul Han and Karen Park as International Treasury Sales Officers, reporting to Mike Davis, senior vice president and International Treasury Sales Manager, the company announced today.

In their new roles, Garritt, Han and Park will be responsible for the strategic marketing of Wachovia's international cash management solutions to corporate clients around the globe and to U.S.-based multinational corporations.

"The combined experience of these newest team members provides us with a diverse array of international treasury management product, marketing and operations expertise," Davis said. "We look forward to extending the reach of Wachovia's international treasury services platform and to providing our customers the services they need in order to respond to today's market globalization."

Garritt joins Wachovia from the Treasury Group at Bristol-Myers Squibb Company, where she was most recently responsible for Global Cash Management activities. Previously, Garritt worked as Manager of Banking Relations and Corporate Cash Manager for Chesapeake Corporation. Garritt earned a BA in economics from Mary Washington College and an MS in business and finance from Virginia Commonwealth University. She will be based in Summit, N.J.

Han, a CCM, joins Wachovia from Bank of America, where he served as a Client Manager and Treasury Sales Officer in the Asian markets, a growing area of focus in the international cash management arena. Han holds a BS degree in business administration from The Citadel. He will be based in Charlotte.

Park is joining the sales team from Wachovia's International Product Solutions Group. She joined Wachovia in 1989 from SPOT Systems, a maker of international financial software, where she was the Director of Sales and Marketing. Park began her career as International Operations and Product Manager with National City Bank in Cleveland. She earned her BA from Baldwin Wallace College. Park will be based in Charlotte.

International Treasury Services

Wachovia's International Treasury Services group provides global cash management solutions to US-based companies with international operations. International Treasury Services partners with Wachovia's US Treasury Services group, Global Trade Services, and Global Financial Institutions, Wachovia's correspondent banking group, as well as with Wachovia's Foreign Exchange and International Corporate Finance groups, to provide corporate customers with completely integrated international cash management solutions. Customers can access all account information through Wachovia's proprietary online cash management system, Wachovia Connection. Services provided by this group include, North American (NAFTA) Treasury Management, European Treasury Management, through Wachovia's London Service Centre, and Global Financial Consulting.
