Wachovia Sponsors Third Treasury Services Expo
Wachovia to present its combined product offering July 8, 2003, in Richmond, Va.

Charlotte, N.C. – Wachovia will host its third regional product expo in Richmond, Va. This expo will provide new and existing Wachovia clients an opportunity to learn more about the treasury management solutions offered by Wachovia, the nation’s second-largest cash management provider.

“We are excited to offer our customers the best that both Wachovia and First Union have to offer. This session will enable them to experience the full range of cash management solutions Wachovia can now provide,” said Ranjana Clark, Executive Vice President and head of Wachovia’s Treasury Services Division.
In addition to product displays and demonstrations, the expo will offer a series of concurrent sessions designed to provide insight into new treasury practices and overall industry developments. These sessions will run throughout the day, with topics including: a regulatory update on the USA PATRIOT and Sarbanes-Oxley Acts, treasury automation, NACHA electronic payment initiatives and treasury management in Canada and Mexico. Additionally, an economic update and a session on managing currency risk will be held.
Wachovia’s Treasury Services Division will also host an exhibit hall where product consultants will showcase their unique solutions. Exhibits and demonstrations include:

The local chapter of the Association for Financial Professionals will also be staffing an exhibit booth, and Certified Cash Manager credit will be available for participants. CPE credit will also be given for CPA participants.
