Wachovia Sponsors Treasury Services Expo
Wachovia to introduce its combined product offering February 12, 2003, in Atlanta

CHARLOTTE, NC - Wachovia has announced that it will host a product expo in Atlanta designed to provide new and existing Wachovia clients with an opportunity to learn more about the combined product solutions and service enhancements Wachovia offers as the country's second-largest cash management provider.

"We are excited to be able to provide our customers with a relaxed environment in which they can familiarize themselves with the full range of cash management solutions Wachovia has to offer," said Ranjana Clark, head of Wachovia's Treasury Services Division. "This is a chance to educate customers on the potential efficiencies and bottom-line improvement for their own organizations made possible by implementing an integrated cash management system."

Wachovia, the nation's fifth-largest bank, has 11 of 17 treasury service products ranked "A" or "A+" by Phoenix Hecht, a third-party provider of market research and education for the financial services industry. Additionally, seven of the Bank's 10 key treasury product capabilities are ranked either first or second for market share in Ernst & Young's survey.

As a part of an on-going regional cash management series, the event will feature sessions designed to share information and insights on treasury industry trends and developments. Among the presenters will be John Silvia, Wachovia's Chief Economist; Henry Waszkowski, head of Wachovia's Treasury Consulting Group; and Janet Boyst, Head of Wachovia's Electronic Services.

Wachovia's Treasury Services Division will host several exhibits in which various product teams will showcase their unique solutions. Product demonstrations include:

Fraud Management Solutions
Cash Concentration and Investment Solutions
International Treasury Management Solutions
Wachovia's Treasury Consulting Group
The local chapter of the Association for Financial Professionals will also be manning an exhibit booth.

Finally, Certified Cash Manager Credit will be available for participants.
