First Union Securities' Corporate Banking Group Adds Director for Charlotte Area

CHARLOTTE - First Union Securities has announced that Christopher L. Corish has joined the Corporate Banking team as a director serving clients primarily in the Charlotte area.

The addition of Chris to our team demonstrates our commitment to providing our clients with superior service," said George Calfo, Managing Director of Corporate Banking for the Mid-Atlantic region. "Chris's wealth of knowledge positions us perfectly to provide value-added corporate banking in the Charlotte area."

Corish joins First Union Securities from Bank of America where he held various corporate and investment banking positions in Richmond and Charlotte. Before joining Bank of America, Corish worked with Wachovia in Atlanta. Corish is a graduate of the University of Virginia's McIntire School of Commerce with a Business Administration degree concentrated in the fields of finance, MIS and accounting. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.
