Wachovia Hires Ann Givens as International Business Line Manager in Treasury Services Group

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Wachovia announced today that Ann Givens has joined Wachovia's Treasury Services Division as Senior Vice President and business line manager for International Treasury Services and the Global Financial Institutions group. Givens will report to Michael Daley, Senior Vice President and manager of Wachovia's Treasury Services Product Solutions.

“Ann’s extensive experience in international banking, together with her proven ability to produce results, will make her a great asset for Wachovia,” Daley said. “We are pleased to have Ann on our team as we continue our success in servicing the global financial institutions marketplace and grow our international treasury business.”

Givens will be responsible for treasury product management, development and sales support for Wachovia’s Global Financial Institutions and International Treasury groups.  She will be based in Philadelphia.

Givens joins Wachovia from ABN Amro, where she was most recently the Global Head of Working Capital for the automotive industry. Previously, Givens was North American Regional Manager for Working Capital Sales and Implementations, also at ABN Amro. Givens has worked as a director at Deutsche Bank in London and in Amsterdam for ABN Amro as Senior Advisor for Working Capital Corporates. Givens earned her BA in economics and business from Hollins University in Virginia.
