Cordelia Lee Beattie Foundation

Cordelia Lee Beattie established this foundation in 1973 to honor her late husband, Edward William Beattie. A concert violinst, Mrs. Beattie retired to Sarasota, Florida, and became a musician with the Florida West Coast Symphony. Cordelia Beattie's passion in music and fine arts prompted her to request the Foundation focus on various area organizations in Sarasota County, Florida.
