GRANT GUIDELINES

Mission and Goals

1. The Van Houten fund supports agencies, institutions and services in Passaic and Bergen Counties, New Jersey, having to do with the care or cure of sick or disabled persons or for the care of orphaned children or aged persons.
2. Educates students in the medical profession.  A target of 10% of the grants each year is for medical scholarships. 
3. Support for Educational Purposes.
4. Support for the care of children

Restrictions

 None, other than described in the Mission statement and the Application form and instructions.

Application Deadlines                         

• January 31 for a March meeting
• August 1 for an October meeting
