GRANT GUIDELINES

Mission and Goals:

The mission of Mrs. Smith's foundation is to benefit organizations which are most responsive to the needs of the community. 

Ordinarily grants are made to organizations located in Southeastern Pennsylvania, with primary emphasis on those serving community needs in Delaware County. 

Restrictions:  None other than those delineated in the application and instructions. 

In addition to the information in the Application, grant-seekers must provide the following statements in a separate document:

1. Explain how the project will directly impact Delaware County, i.e., number of Delaware County residents participating, location of project, etc.
2. List 3 organizations you are soliciting for this project and the amounts you are asking.
3. What percentage of your annual budget is spent to raise funds?
4. How does your organization collaborate with other organizations for programming, etc.?
5. What is the number of full-time and part-time employees?
6. Who are your top 3 staff members?
7. What is the date of the last proposal to this foundation?
