NATALIE W. FURNISS CHARITABLE TRUST

The Natalie W. Furniss Foundation was established in 1974 by her Last Will and Testament.  Mrs. Furniss was a resident of Longport, New Jersey.  She was so caring of her cats that she left them a life estate in her home and charged her executor to maintain them at the home as long as was convenient.  Mrs. Furniss also had a particular fondness for Virginia Baptist Hospital and the Colonial Williamsburg Historical Society.  But the bulk of her estate was left to the Foundation to promote the humane treatment of animals.
