GRANT GUIDELINES
The Ida A. Ryan Charitable Trust makes grants to qualified 501(c)(3) organizations in the Atlanta area. The trustee primarily makes single year grants focusing on capital projects.
All requests must include:
- Background information on the organization, including brief history, current officers and directors, current address and phone number, and name and title of primary contact
- The goals, objectives, and budget for the one project or program for which funds are being requested
- The amount of the grant requested
- Summary of how the funds will be used
- Supporting financial information on the organization, to include current financial status
- Copy of organization's tax exemption letter from the Internal Revenue Service
The foundation's board meets semi-annually in March and September. Requests must be postmarked by February 1 and August 1 respectively in order to be considered.
