GRANT GUIDELINES
The Price Gilbert, Jr. Charitable Fund makes grants to charitable and educational institutions in the Atlanta area. Grantmaking focuses on capital projects.
All requests must include the following information:
- Background information on the organization requesting the grant, including a brief history of the organization, list of current officers and directors, current address and phone number of the organization, and name and title of primary contact at the organization
- The goals, objectives, and budget for the project or program for which funds are being requested
- The amount of the grant being requested
- A summary of how funds will be used and how other funds will be obtained if the grant requested is not for the complete cost of the project or program
- Supporting financial information on organization, to include current financial statements
- A copy of the organization’s tax exemption letter from the Internal Revenue Service
The foundation's board meets semi-annually in March and September. Requests must be postmarked by February 1 and August 1 respectively in order to be considered.
