AMBROSE AND IDA FREDRICKSON FOUNDATION


Ambrose N. Fredrickson resided in the community of Short Hills, New Jersey.  His Foundation was established in 1986.  It provides grants for community welfare, health and human services,  educational and environmental purposes, and the arts. While the Foundation supports all grant areas consistent with its philosophy, the Will of Ambrose Fredrickson which established the Foundation, advises that consideration be given to the following organizations: Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation, West Orange, New Jersey; Hartshorne Arboretum, Short Hills, New Jersey; The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, Williamsburg, Virginia; Overlook Hospital, Summit New Jersey; and Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania.
